I need names of people and places for a mystical story? I am writing a story and need some names for people places and maybe some ideas for a tory. Are ancient standing stones really mystical? I'm curious. Are standing stones mystical because people believe them to be so and regard them as such - like a hushed and holy place? If they actually are mystical places and not so just because we say they are, how does the mystical energy exist and not disipate? Perhaps I'm confusing mystical energy with physical energy - which is why I need to ask this question. In any case what specifically causes the standing stones to be mystical ?
Do you know any places to get faeries and other mystical creature statues? I want to do my room up in mystical creatures and faeries but the only magazine we get with these kind of items in it is toscano (which can get pretty expensive). This foot long unicorn I want out of that magazine is $120.00. I really don't feel like spending that much for a statue of a unicorn since it's only going to be a foot long. does anyone know of other compaines where I can get those kinds of items? if you could copie their website down that would be appreciated. also i'm looking for a color to paint my room to match the theme do you think I should paint my room a light purple or a light green or do you have any other suggestions on a color? I looked and there is nothing at the bradford exchange, hot topic, and spencers.

Is there a hallow realm,a mystical& physical place of great mystery & wonder in the hallow earth? The hallow earth theory is represented in the history of many diverse cultures throughout the world. Have you heard of any names naming this realm. Some say the Garden of Eden, the Avalon of Camelot, Paradise Lost. Know of any others? The mystical & physical place is thought to house prehistoric animals & plants and by others to hide alien beings bent on conquering the outer Earth. Have you heard of any of this or any other things or persons?
Theists, why do you believe in someone too mystical to comprehend? God is beyond what we can comprehend, what we can imagine, what our puny brains can logically understand. He is mystical, mysterious and He works in mysterious ways. That is what theists say time and again. If God is a divine being too mystical for human beings to comprehend, why believe in Him in the first place? Is to just to make sense of the mysteries of life and this universe, which is also too mystical for us now to comprehend? Thanks for the answers.

Why Do People Have Trouble Accepting That Death Is The End? I mean I think the reason that religion has been able to stick around for so long is because people have a fear of death. Nobody wants to accept that death is the end. Everyone lives and dies. Everybody wants to believe that you go to this mystical place when you die, but that's just not reality. Why can't people just accept death, and make the best of the time you've got here.
What are some mystical/fantasy lands like atlantis, neverland, etc.?? i need to know some names of fantasy or un discovered world for a project im doing foe school. i need to know places like neverland, atlantis, wonderland. does anyone no of any?? thx sooo much thank you sooooo much all of you answers were helpful. i dotn know how to do the best answer thing. but all of yours were great. im using them all thank you soooo muchhhh.
Why do you think religion was created in the first place? do you think it was created to give people hope and peace, or to control people through fear of not being allowed into some mystical place when they die? OR do you have a different theory on how religion came to be. I'm agnostic, just for the record.
A mystical place- Will you please rate my poem? Soothed and at peace, the water rushes over me. I feel happy, excited for what is yet to come. What will happen in this adventure? Will I swim with the fishies? Dance with the seaweed? I wait for the familiar whistle. And it comes, beautiful and sweet. I look below me, into the drain. A small figure, a starfish waves at me, laughing merrily with joy and happiness. She reaches her soft, feathery arm out and I clasp it, my heart racing. Instantly I am pulled into this beautiful world, where tenticles tickle and monkeys drown. The Starfish winks at me and we dive down into the colourful waters that embrace us. I am free, yet I am fearful. The lone Tikkimama lurks these waters and one must always be watchful. Those swept up into his arms will never be seen again. We whirl upon the current, playing with all friendly creatures I am wanted here, unlike the outside world, where I have no one. An endlesss day of fun and energy. But I have to go sometime The starfish skips with me back to the peeling tub, where I stand naked, shivering. She helps me back into my plane clothes, holds my hand as I climb back into bed. She tucks me in with a warm kiss, and dissapears before I have a chance to say goodbye. Thank you for all your comments!!! =)
Why is it that so many people here seem to be living in such a mystical world? I have noticed that to many people here, the world is a mystical place filled with all sorts of demons, angels, spirits and magic like divination. Why is that? I mean, even when I was still a Christian, I never believed in a world ruled by spiritual entities that you could interact with, like using a ouija board to "get messages from the other side", compelling spirits "in Jesus' name" or something like that. Neither does the overwhelming majority of Christians in my country. Is this more of an American phenomenon? Jas P - Could you elborate a little further? I doubt atheists are even capable of causing people to belive in these things. They belive in them all by themselves. Eura *spat out Plath & Pinter* - Yeah, we have new agers here who believe in some of this stuff, but even they are few and far in between, at least here in Finland. Yet in the States, these seem like really common beliefs. Kristin - Not that you will ever check back to read this but no, they are not. The majority of Christians in my country don't believe in them. 1/3 of the priests where I live in don't even believe in hell. Don't come telling me what's standard around here when you obviously don't know.
Do u recommend me to see a spiritual healer like Bomoh , temple medium and mystical place for healing? When u talk about my health it is very sad and like the end of the world , nobody can help me it started 10 years ago some times it is very intense until u can't stand but some times it come sonly a while and go , on and off like ghost disturbing a person , it prick on my whole body sometime the penis and the eye also got I have seen many Doctors they all can't heal me lah some more they said i am mad lah and be arrogant to refuse to answer my question on drugs and health
I need a mystical name for a place I'm writing about!? I'm writing about a place based on Ireland but I need a new name for this new country I'm creating. I'm thinking Arcland. Any other names that you can think of? I want people to think "Wow! Magical!" when they hear the name.

Can someone help me track down an author and title of an (I think) French short story? I read it ages ago, and it was one of the most touching pieces of art that I'd encountered over my (then) not very long life. It's a story told from a perspective of a guy who may or may not be in love with his friends wife (I may be wrong about this part), and during a trip to the mountains she is lost. Years later he finds her in a secret convent in those same mountains, dressed in white and with her face covered, because there had been a bout of leprosy in the convent. I think the title of the story was the name of the mountain on which the convent was, it's supposed to be some half-mystical, spiritual place. If it rings a bell to anyone, I'd appreciate it. I wanted to reread it, because as you can see I only half-remember it, but it was not in the book were I thought it was.
Why people from Massachusetts all flock to Florida? That's all these folks talks about - going to Florida, Florida, Florida. What is this mystical mass hyponotic obsession with Florida with these folks?? I know lots of them travel to other places, but Florida seems the no. 1 destination for the majority of them.
What are some mystical towns? Maybe a town where a war took place or something. I want to know for my book. Somewhere where lots of supernatural happenings have occured. Small towns would be nice. Thank you One of my main characters is Irish, but it has to take place in the U.S. The main character is a Grogoch.
Please, I need more information about Stonehenges? What is Stonehenges? Who built this place? How age it? Is true that the place is mystical? What do people celebrate in winter and summer; What are the relationship between Arthur King, Druids and Stonehenge?
Getting my piercings: 23rd Street Body Piercings or Mystical Illusions? (Oklahoma City)? Okay, well I'm planning on getting my double monroes (aka- angel bites) done this monday. I can't decide whether I should get them done at Mystical Illusions or 23rd Street body Piercings. I've heard both good and bad stories (like infections, crooked piercings, etc.) about both places, anyone know which to choose, from experience? Oh yeah, please do not leave me any crap about this. Thanks :)
If you could have one mystical power, what would it be? I would have the power to know the future. Then I would kill terrorists and people who like to shoot up public places. I would of course be considered a Murderer and would have to hide out. They would never catch me though because I know the future.
help remembering an animal-mystical-fantasy book series? i'm trying to remember the titles of some books i read when i was in elementary school...the books were in a series, no story really related to another, that was this colorful fantasy book series, and the stories all had moral themes...each book would be centered on one character...and would take place in like a mystical forest-area where animals could talk. the illustrations were really well done. the books were always soft cover, not that big...and the titles i'm pretty sure were just the name of the main character for that book. one story i remember was about a really pretty pony with hair that another animal wanted, and that other animal would give that horse some kind of food for his hair, and each time, the food would be less, or something like that. the pony didn't like it, and told the other animal to stop, and the other animal just pulled its hair. other animals stepped in or something... please help! thanks!

Do words really have mystical powers or only inspiring or discouraging effects? So much about religion is based on words and devotees even seem to believe that some words have magical properties. They can have either negative effects, such as curses, or positive effects such as blessings. We all know that words can be used to insult and discourage or inspire and encourage regarding the human psyche. For us, words carry meaning. But how can words, which are created and changed by man in the first place, have any effect on the universe or mystic ways? When I started learning other languages, I also discovered that what is considered a curse in one language is deemed as a normal word in an other. Even words in our own language, that have become so vulgarized, find their root origins in Old English from deeper Germanic roots. Taking God's name in vain also seems to have fallen victim to uttered superstition. Should we really believe that words have positive and negative mystical powers?
In the passage below, what alternative to calming would be consistent with the tone of the passage? I woke to the meadow bright silver with frost, and brilliant sunlight through yellow leaves over the barn. What would I do without this calming open space to rest my eyes on? It is the mystical opening of the whole place. It is what I come back to when I have been away, as to a deeper breath. Each time I am gone, even for a weekend, I have to recover the house and the garden; something dies with absence and must be reconstructed. A. Kindly B. Peaceful C. Encouraging D. Cheering

if Jesus is the Head of the Mystical Body of Christ then is Mary the Heart of the Mystical Body of Christ? "In God's scheme of redemption, Mary plays a principal part, unlike any other. Among the members of the Mystical Body, she holds a special place of her own, the first after the Head. In the divine organism of the whole Christ, Mary performs a function which is intimately bound up with the life of the entire body. She is its Heart . . . More commonly, the role of Mary in the Mystical Body is (following St. Bernard) likened to that of the neck, which joins the head to the rest of the body. This comparison emphasises fairly well the universal mediation of Mary between the Mystical Head and his members. However, the neck does not exemplify as effectively as the heart the idea of the all-important influence exercised by Mary, and of her power, second only to that of God in the workings of the supernatural life. For the neck is no more than a connecting link. It plays no part in the initiating or influencing of life. The heart, on the contrary, is a reservoir of life which first receives into itself the richness which it has then to distribute to the whole body." (Mura: Le Corps Mystique du Christ) Gertysto... you never answered my question. And although what you say is right. Mary is also the Mother of the whole Christ, that is Jesus the Head & the Church, His Body. In that verse he was saying that She is worthy to be His Mother because she obeys the Word of God. :)

Ideas for some names and places in my story? Okay, as you probably already know from my other hundred or so questions on this subject, I'm writing a fantasy story. I've had a couple complaints on the details, and one on the name of my main character. So here's the names that I need ideas for: 1. The name of a strange underwater creature called an Armiri. My original name for him? Felix. It doesn't seem very foreign or mystical, does it? Also, if you wish, you may inclose a description along with it. Some character traits or whatever. Go crazy. 2. The name of the city he lives in. I was thinking something enchanting, maybe Esmeralda or Maglidon. 3. My main character. She's a wanderer and has been very out-of-place since her mother's death two years ago. I chose Rina, but again, suggestions are welcome. 4. Her dad. Very strict, very grumpy, not around the house much. Trying to forget his wife's death. a boater 5. Any other name ideas are welcome; no matter how many are already posted there's always room for mo kk ur ideas so far are great, wow! but just to remind you the girl and her dad are normal; they live in present-day and shouldn't have too far-out names. it's the armiri that should have weirder names, k? : ) thanks i appreciate it
You ever notice how life imitates art...a lot? ahhhhhhh! Freak out.!!!? What happens to me when i die? Most people say heaven/hell or some other mystical thing. But was it proven that animals go to mystical places after they die? If not then we might not go to any other place when we die. Because were just like animals. We have hair, Our own way of speaking and such. The only difference is that were much smarter. So if we die.... do we just just see darkness? Brightness? Or nothing.... or some other thing!?
I have a keloid in my nose piercing, is there really an oil that can remove it? Only answers from people who have actually witnessed an oil removing their keloids..please. I used some piercing oil that I purchased from the body piercing place (mystical illusion) but no luck, & I don't know what it actually was because they made the bottles themselves & put a label on them that said piercing oil so I do not know the name of it, but it had a very bad smell to it, & I used it twice a day every day....no luck. serious answers only please. (from people with experience of this situation)
What is the intuitive value of divine synchronicity (where events and people in our universe are manifested)? I am mystified by an everchanging universe. What do I do to ask for help and insight into the ultimate reason for my life here on Earth? What is my place in the divine continuum of time and space? Who will deliver me home? I pray and I wait, but I have mere mortal doubts. How do I find transcendence? What do I make of the mysterious signs which direct and guide me? How can I muster more faith? What is God? What is man? Where do I look for guidance in my time of need? Who else is aware of the acute mishaps and the terrible trials and perplexing trials I face? What is my mortal role in this lifetime? What do my perceptions mean? What stock can I place in the many eons of life that have come before I? Where can I find the esoteric answers I seek? Who will come forward to show me my route? How do I interpret the mystical messages that are being delivered to me through the earthly ways of man and his society? How much stock can I place in Jungian theories of synchronicity?
"mystical" version of here comes the Bride?? I'm wanting my wedding to have a somewhat mystical feel, I've always been attracted to elvish type themes. It's going to take place outside at evening. So even something elegant sounding, just not so classical sounding. Our reception is going to have a moon & stars theme to it as well. My problem is that the traditional sounding "Here comes the Bride" is so classical. My fiance really wants that to be the song I walk down to, & I'm leaning more towards that as well. But I'm wondering if there's a version someone has done to the song for me to walk down the aisle on. I've looked through google, amazon & even been through singingfish.com a few times and just can't find one that has the right feel that I'm looking for . . . I found one song I like for the point he and I walk off as husband&wife by a Shaun Paul http://www.shaunpaul.com/bookings/weddings/audio/traditional/high/Wedding%20March.mp3 so if you know of any that are similar to it please let me know!! Thank you so much! While I like the harp Ideas I really don't see them being available to me (the area I'm in is not that... "special" for lack of a better word to have harps at their schools) Also I sorta am looking for more then one instrument to be playing. Thank you for the suggestions so far!!
Trying to remember the title of a book :)? It is a short book about a child who goes to live w/ an older relative who looks extremely young. Child finds a hole in the ground (a mystical place sort of) which leads them to find out that the relative kept another child in a room sealed w/ a spell and black tar sealing the door and the relative got the child's youth. Had the book, loved it, lost it...any help thanks
Do you order corsages at your local florist? So I've lived in a place where there was no mystical prom and I'm really wondering about this whole corsage Do you just call your florist and tell them what color/kind of corsage you want? Can give you a semi-detailed process?
Whats an entertaining book i could read over the summer? I know, reading isnt fun to many of you, but a lot of times i get into a book, and really enjoy it. I do have summer reading for my school, but i want to know a good book to read for "fun" that is going to be entertainning. These are some books i really enjoyed, maybe it would help... All the Harry Potters Eragon/Eldest The Sea of Trolls-BY Nancy Farmer Pendragon (series) Charlie Bone ( i think thats what its called) Emperor: The Gates of Rome And different books like that. Action,Fantasy, i enjoy books with Magic (like harry potter type magic) and books that took place when there were kings and knights, and fights with swords and mystical creatures. So if you have any good book suggestions based off the above info or that you enjoyed that i might like, i would appreciate it. *I am a fast and excellent reader, the longest book on that list took my 9 days, and that was The Sea of Trolls, so i can handle big books =)* thanks
Asian Tattoo Mystical Powers? I saw this one show I forgot what channel (either discovery or travel channel) but the host was taking place in a group of body guards to block a group of asian people with "mystical power granting" tattoos. The bodyguards would be in front of the stage where a monk would be chanting prayers out. The prayers supposedly granted powers back to the tattoo owners and eventually, they would run up towards the direction of where the chants are (the stage) as their tattoo animal i.e. if I had a crocodile tattoo, I would behave like a crocodile. The host of the show was, like previously mentioned, a body guard assistant and blocked the rushing mob from going to the monk.. What I want to know is what country does this originate from and maybe a tv show? Thank you. Oh does anyone know where I can see a video of this?
I need a BMW M3 for cheap!!! Where can I get one?? I only have like $1500. HELP!? *Disclaimer - this is not a legit question. I know the answer doesn't really exist. I know there is no Santa Claus or Keebler Elves. Just annoyed.* I see questions all the time... for example: "I'm 16, want a 1969 Camaro SS for cheap! Who sells them cheap! Must be in perfect condition!" "Is there any dealer that sells Bentleys for like $100,000 under invoice in the (fill in blank with U.S. city) area?" "I want a Corvette convertible, but only have $100 for a down payment. I make $7.50/hr, is there a dealer that will let me make payments on one?" "Is there a backalley auction place near (fill in blank with U.S. city here) that I can buy Ferraris, Lambos, etc. for hundreds of dollars?" *Always add the annoying "HELP!" at the end as well* So, my question is this: Where are these mystical places where folks can get these super-cheap cars? I mean, they must exist, right? Hundreds of folks posting questions on here must have heard something we all should know, right? Ah... Nigeria. I have heard of this place. I apparently had some relative die there and leave me $41M. Gentlemen, I'm still waiting for my money! Venom - are you a moron? Did you actually read the whole question? whatican - Y!A is a waste of time, but we're all addicted... Jay - thank God... someone finally "got it" Jasmine - thanks, yet another person who needs "Moron" stamped on their forehead. Read the whole question. Don't just read the heading and assume.
A hypothetical question about the nature of this "god" character...? Let me first state that I'm an atheist. I view christianity in precisely the same light as I do any other mythology, and I view the bible as a work of complete fiction. Having said that.... IF there really is a god, and there really is a devil; and they both live in mystical places known as "heaven" and "hell"..... What if christianity was deceived from the very beginning and they've been praying to the wrong guy ever since? I offer the following as potential evidence of this deception: -Satan is known as "the father of lies", and "the great deceiver"...would this not be the greatest deception possible? -God sacrificed his son to torture and death; likely even authoring this whole scenario in order to pay for our "sins". -Satan's son is supposed to unite all people under one flag for a common cause -The greatest sin of mankind was to eat from "the tree of knowledge". Why would seeking knowledge be such a bad thing? What is he trying to hide? -God will allegedly dish out infinite amounts of horrific torture for very finite "sins". -Satan will accept us into his domain regardless of what we have or haven't done. -Consider the genocidal campaigns of Joshua and others. They were ordered to kill every living person (women, children, even the unborn), in various villages that worshipped some other deity. Is murderous jealousy really an attribute of a loving deity? -Hell is alleged to be a horrific place of eternal torture, yet our only source for this knowledge is from a book that was supposedly inspired by the very being it instructs us to worship. Consider your sources... Again, this is a hypothetical question only. If it offends you to even consider possibilities outside your own belief system, move along to the next question. If not, I'd love to hear people's input on this. Sorry, it got kinda long there, huh? This stuff actually has a name? I'll have to look into luciferian beliefs. I don't think it's any more possible than christianity, but it certainly seems more plausible. indian cowboy- just post the link buddy. No need to cut and paste the whole thing in your response. atlantis- all this stuff comes from the bible.... that's probably what makes it so fun to twist around. brainiac- Actually, I would LOVE an honest discussion on the subject. I don't know how I could have made this any less offensive... it's a purely hypothetical question about a mythology I don't happen to believe is factual. I'm sorry if an honest question made you feel intellectually inferior, that was not my intent. Ian G- That is an incredibly insightful response from the stance of one that believes! Certainly, there is no way to "prove" anything about faith (logically that is why it's called "faith"), which is why I tried so desperately to label this as nothing other than a hypothetical possibility. Thank you for recognizing that and giving me such a well constructed answer. Best wishes to you. Ray G- Good response, but remember; I'm suggesting that everything has been a deception from the beginning. God (and the bible he "inspired") says the devil is bad; but what if HE is really the bad guy and has been running an enormously successful "smear" campaign against the good guy from the very beginning? It's just hypothetical, and I certainly don't pretend it to be the truth; merely an interesting possibility to ponder. Zell-see answer for Ray G... The whole idea is to work on the assumption that things were backward from the beginning.... good answer though, thank you! Robert-That's an excellent simplification of things. While I didn't think my idea would be wholly original, I'm mildly dissappointed that it already has a name put to it.... I certainly appreciate your utterly unbiased answer as well. Thank you. Megan- I can absolutely identify with you on what you've said here. Your third point in particular is close to the heart for me. It's almost inconceivably arrogant of man to presume that anything capable of creating something as unimaginably complex as the universe would take such a special interest in mankind. Perhaps even more arrogant is the thought that we could actually interpret the will and plans laid forth by anything that could simply "will" the universe into existence. antiappolyon- My hypotheticals are just that....hypothetical. I'm not offering anything here as proof of anything at all. It's just something I was pondering and wanted to see what people thought. Thank you for your response.
Where or What is Heaven? Is ti a physical place? A spiritual place? an Mystical place? Is it a place at all? Or a state of mind? If Hell is a physical place with fire and brimstone... would not heaven be the same? and if God created earth... did god therefore have to invent matter before creating it? I saw some girl say heaven is in the Sky, Do people actually believe that?

Claire de Lune? it's my favorite classic. Whenever I listen to it, I'm transferred to another place, a mystical place... Gustav Holst "The Planets" suite is awesome and another favorite classic that takes me away... Roy... I love Satie (Gymnopedies)
How would you deal with this? For many years I attended a yoga studio with a special, mystical atmosphere, in a particular building which had character. Recently, my teacher was forced out of it, to a much smaller, less pleasant venue, due to the high cost of rent. The loss has been too much for me, as I lost a special place which was like a haven from the world's troubles. Can I really replace it, with something else, or do I need to give up the old times, and old place, and situation, totally, in my mind? However, the teacher is rather special, with her advice, and philosophy on life...
Atheists: why get mad or complain when we tell you you're going to hell when you don't even believe in Hell? You say that we are always assaulting you with threats of hell, why do you care if you think it's a mystical place anyway? You do recognize it as a bad thing uh? I'll still pray for you but since you've rejected Jesus, you only have you to blame for not entering the Kingdom of Heaven. Well "Paul", Some Christians understand that there is no need to sugarcoat it . The Bible doesn't. It specifically says that whoever doesn't accept Jesus as their Savior isn't not going to Heaven. I'm just pointing it out to you. Npt out of malice as some of you are accusing me of. Just doing my duty as a Christian. To other Christians it offends, do your homework. There's a double negative somewhere in there... oh well, you get the gist...
Where the hell is heaven? Is heaven a mystical place or an actual place . . . or . . . is it no place at all, but rather, a little bait to get converts? I didn't ask "WHAT" heaven is, but where. Also, can anyone tell me where it is, without quoting from the fallible bible?
I need a name for my fantasy story? Like you can see above, I need some names for a title for my fantasy story. The story is about a boy who wield a mystical weapon and try together with his friends to defeat The Darkness. Every answer is welcome for my title. I need a little bit help to with names for places, like cities, towns, lakes and buildings. And 2 names for worlds, one name for a world of light. And the other one for a world full of darkness.
Atheists, a question? A not so simple question. I admit, I cannot understand your way of thinking. To not believe in a supreme being just boggles my mind. I don't think I'll ever fully understand what you believe. I do ask that you help me in part understand some of your beliefs. One of the biggest is what happens after death. From what I understand, atheists believe that once we die, that is it. No heaven, no meeting your loved ones, just dirt and worm food. Please help me understand how this comforts you when a loved one dies. If there is no meeting up in some mystical place or something beyond death, how do you console yourself after someone dies? I mean no disrespect, I just want to know. As I said, I can't wrap my mind around it.

Exotic Animal Foundation"? i've heard good and bad about it and i want to know the truth, its located inbetween oklahoma city and dallas, does anyone know info on this place? is it good to the animals? they have a show going on here in iowa city and i know that some kids from my school were protesting against it, but i dont trust their information, i have heard nothing bad about it that is proven, anyone know anything? thanks
what are some of the supernatural powers that you can acquire through Taoist Mystical practices? I am just curious, do these abilities have to do with the psyche or are they physical? I have heard that physical flight and the ability to appear places by willpower are a couple. Is this true? Master Li, the head of Falun Gong has claims of being able to speak with extraterrestrials who are fighting over whether or not to "harvest" humanity, along with being able to fly and appear anywhere he wants in an instant. And those are just the simplest of his abilities supposedly. Please do not answer if you are just going to ask for proof or ridicule the question. If you need proof of where I got the info about falun gong, just google "falun gong".
Jesus wants you to help the poor and be a good person. No mumbo- you need mystical baloney? what is heaven? been there? seen it? How could you ever know, or share what that is? it's a very tenuous argument- Make THIS world better, at least try by REALLY doing something- I teach music- what are YOU doing? just get through the day with a paycheck- I know it's tough- but take a little more risks- try to make the world a little better in some even small way- then - tell me about "heaven" or whatever "otherworldly" fantasy you been handed. sorry- but it's all that there is. Follow Jesus by making this world a kinder place.

What is your personal opinion of a Nazorean (Mancihaean) Gnostic? I will firstly describe, being a Nazorean Gnostic Myself, what being a gnostic entails: 1: I have whole faith, in the truth of personal mystical experiences, these are just more then filling a chill on a hot day. These experiences bring enlightment and renewed sense of purpose. 2: In addition; we build up our own account, of spiritual knowledge which is brought about by study and reflection of the universal divine law. 3: I see everything in dualisms, and so I treat somethings different from others, I eat chicken but I do not eat red meat. 4: It is important not to place to much attension on the material body, since it is temperal and corruptable. I must seek only to live spiritually and to refuse the body its own self-worship. 5: Also, we cannot love or have anything before the Lord Wisdom, that would be idolatry, for He is our Spiritual Master and there is nothing else. 6: We have not to live for ourselfs, but we have to live for God Most High. What do yout think: SGMH
Tree of Life Jewelry - Any Good Stuff Out There? As a pagan guy I'm looking for a Tree of Life pendant that is a nice piece of tree of life jewelry. I'm into the tree of life as a mystical symbol because it represents the many different energies that we experience through life and I find the tree of life very inspiring. I can't find a really nice tree of life pendant online. Anybody know of a good place to go?
Serious question about house dwelling mystical beings.? I'm not exactly sure how to ask this but I was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about any type of house dwelling demon, faerie, elf or even ghost that could suck the life out of a place and the people who live in it? i know it sounds farfetched to some but the house that i live in with my family has been in the family since my mom was a kid and there is a lot of negative energy in the house. everyone who dwells in it mostly has a general feeling of ennui 90% of the time plus we all get sick/have weird things happen to us more than the general person. i myself am a practicing witch and i know for a fact that things like this can be real so i was just wondering if anyone knew of any THING that could be doing this or if it could just be the negative energy and more importantly what the heck i can do about it :-/ any help would be much appreciated. yes druid, i do have y im! i practice white magic but not regularly and not for a while, however this feeling of ennui and everything has been going on for years. my family has always lived on and owned this property and it's about 50 years old. we've had a lot of family drama on the property and that's where the negative energy comes from. i agree that me doing spells could have opened doors but the only spells i have ever done have been protection on the house and things of the sort, little blessings and such, which is why i disagree that it's my fault that this is happening. i'm not a very skilled witch so i really think that something like this is out of my league which is why i don't know what to do. oh and druid it's not letting me im you :( could you try again? i think i changed it so you could thank you kagmi that was very helpful, i just have no experience with exorcisms or blessings so i think i'm out of my league :( i doubt i could perform such a thing. and i definitely agree, we've all gotten so used to it, pretty much accepted it that it's really got it's claws in us :-\

What is it that people like about Chicago so much? Don't get me wrong. I think Chicago is an nice city, but I've traveled a lot and I think some of the cities in Florida were more exciting and home-like to me. I think Chicago has some great things to see and do like the museums, restaurants, zoos, etc. But what really sets Chicago apart from the other cities? In my opinion it would have to be the food because most of the other things like shopping and museums can be seen in other cities as well. Maybe I have a different view because I've seen many of the negatives of Chicago like segregation, extremely competitive job market, constant shut-down of Chicago-based retailers, poor housing, and cold weather! Maybe it's because I've always been from around here but, I just don't understand why people are always saying it's like the greatest city out there. People act as though it's just some amazing mystical place that everyone want to move to. Why?
