Mystical Angels

Mythical/mystical creatures that aren't used tooooo often in books, but are still usable in a novel?

I don't mind if they are used in novels, but I don't want them to be like really common like a vampire or anything, just like some mythical or mystical creatures that I can use in my novel :) thanks, and any website or picture attachments would be good too :)

1. A hippocampus. It's pretty much a mermaid horse.

3. A griffin; part eagle part lion. And the hippocampus is is the part of the brain located in the medial temporal lobe, not a mythical creature.
