  1. TRY GHOSTBUSTERS
  2. I was going to be snotty and suggest the elusive Spelchekur, but without a doubt the most intriguing mystical creature is the dragon. Personally I'm fond of phoenixes, but that's not a common interest. But seriously - you should watch your spelling, or your teacher (and everyone else) won't pay much attention to what you have to say.
  3. mystical creature eh! Ahmmm how about In Greek mythology, the Centaurs (Greek: Κένταυροι) are a race of creatures composed of part human and part horse. In early Attic vase-paintings, they are depicted as the torso of a human joined at the (human's) waist to the horse's withers, where the horse's neck would be. This half-human and half-animal composition has led many writers to treat them as liminal beings, caught between the two natures, embodied in contrasted myths, and as the embodiment of untamed nature, as in their battle with the Lapiths, or conversely as teachers, like Chiron. The centaurs were usually said to have been born of Ixion and Nephele (the cloud made in the image of Hera). Another version, however, makes them children of a certain Centaurus, who mated with the Magnesian mares. This Centaurus was either the son of Ixion and Nephele (instead of the Centaurs) or of Apollo and Stilbe, daughter of the river god Peneus. In the latter version of the story his twin brother was Lapithus, ancestor of the Lapiths, thus making the two warring peoples cousins. Centaurs were said to have inhabited the region of Magnesia and Mount Pelion in Thessaly, Mount Pholoe in Arcadia and the Malean peninsular in southern Laconia.
  4. Try Scilla. She was a horrible sea-monster from Homer's Odyssey. She used to drink up all the sea and regurgitate back so that all the fish & ships (not fish & chips) remained in her mouth. Another one would be Hydra. He was a terrible amphibious creature who could grow back more and more heads as you cut them. P.S: What about Vampires, Ghouls, Dragons, Chimeras, Cyclops and stuff like that? 5. Hi there, Why not try some research on unicorns, or maybe even Pegasus. Now that would be interesting. There are some wonderful tales and legends about both. Try it, I bet you will be intrigued yourself. Have fun.
