Mystical Angels

What is your personal opinion of a Nazorean (Mancihaean) Gnostic?

I will firstly describe, being a Nazorean Gnostic Myself, what being a gnostic entails: 1: I have whole faith, in the truth of personal mystical experiences, these are just more then filling a chill on a hot day. These experiences bring enlightment and renewed sense of purpose. 2: In addition; we build up our own account, of spiritual knowledge which is brought about by study and reflection of the universal divine law. 3: I see everything in dualisms, and so I treat somethings different from others, I eat chicken but I do not eat red meat. 4: It is important not to place to much attension on the material body, since it is temperal and corruptable. I must seek only to live spiritually and to refuse the body its own self-worship. 5: Also, we cannot love or have anything before the Lord Wisdom, that would be idolatry, for He is our Spiritual Master and there is nothing else. 6: We have not to live for ourselfs, but we have to live for God Most High. What do yout think: SGMH

  1. And that brings me to my next subject folks....DON'T DO DRUGS :-)
  2. Sounds interesting. In fact has many similarities with what I hold true, although I consider myself to be an Esoteric Christian Mystic. Funny that.... isn't it?
  3. I think that we have a lot in common. And I personally, think that we're closer to an ultimate truth than those who flock en masse to an organized spiritual army. I'm an eccentric neopagan.
  4. Very interesting take on things. But isn't living for 'god most high' a kind of idolatry? I am not in any way criticising, just picking a few questions that your text raises in my mind. Why eat chicken and not red meat? They are all living animals and deserve the right to live. Why not be completely vegetarian or carnivorous? To eat one and not the other is not dualist, it is just being picky. I understand the rest of your text and have to say that it has a good deal of merit. Thanks for letting me know about your Gnosticism, I like to learn and understand different views and faiths.
  5. I'm really glad you asked that. It'll give me something to think about in my old age.
  6. Surely the famous Nazorean Gnostic got there first, and your interpretations, like his, have simply become a mish-mash of ideas justifying whatever you choose to believe. Two wrongs do not make a right !
